There is NO

September 08, 2010 By: veniceblogger Category: Venice

Sex can be a game or even better, several games all at once. We can enjoy new situations, transform into fantastic characters and amazing superheroes. We can practice a thousand positions and enjoy every moment. And we can do whatever we want, with no limits and no rules except one: No means No. That is any kind of sex must be 100% consensual, otherwise, we would be committing a crime: rape. This occurs when performing a sexual act where one of the two parties does not consent to sex, and it becomes a situation where force is used. Never mind that the other person is your partner, if she says no, the sex has to stop… (And shouldn’t have even started!).  Other situations that are rape? Having sex with somebody who cannot give consent because they are intoxicated, drugged or asleep.

Some types of rape occur more frequently in couples than they should. The problem arises when one party wants sex and the other doesn’t. What do we do? Of course, never force the other person to have sex. Another problem arises when we believe that the other person, by saying NO, is joking or just trying to excite their partner by simulating a “violent” situation.  Yes, this can be a real problem: it’s important to talk with your partner about any role-playing, establish a safe word if you are delving into the world of BDSM and know when to stop.

In any case, after establishing the limits of the relationship live out your wildest and most morbid fantasies in the city of canals. Rent one of the many available apartments in Venice and start enjoying all the secrets and stories that fill the beautiful Italian city. Shut yourselves up in the room and give free rein to your imagination, but always keep in mind  that sex,  with strangers, your partner  or in  group, is not just about your pleasure, but also have the satisfaction of  others, and mutual consent.
